Baccarat is a commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in north-eastern France. In 1764, King Louis XV granted permission to the Bishop of Metz to establish a glasswork at Baccarat. The Baccarat Crystal works are the world famous for their glass and crystal artwork. For years the company’s main focus remains the Glass wares. Baccarat created an American Subsidiary in 1948 in New York City. They started to produce pieces based on cyclone designs. After more than two centuries, Baccarat began making jewellery in 1993. Later in 2005 it was acquired by Starwood Capital Group in the United Sates.

So after reading the introduction, you already know that Baccarat produces fantastic crystal jewellery range as it is been doing  crystal work now close to two and half centuries.
